Nusaibin consists of two members at its core and can expand to a bunch with guests and collaborations. Band founders are Murat Can Oğuz, responsible for arrangements and electronics (sampling, synths, drum machines) and Tarık Aslan responsible for percussions (daf, frame drum, djembe, dehollo, darbuka, cajon, bongo, udu). Their upcoming EP features guitars from Onur Özçelik and didgeridoo from Koray Tarhan. Unity of these musicians created a sound that is unaccustomed. Their music combines cultural and humble instruments of the east and unclean electronic arrangements of the west. The songs they construct through improvised recordings are formed by collaborations with fellow musicians and music groups from various eastern cultural backgrounds. After playing at important venues of Istanbul such as Babylon, and festivals like Chill-Out Festival and Cappadox they are set to become an important part of the Turkish electronic music scene.
