Melike Şahin is a singer-songwriter born and raised in İstanbul, Turkey. Since she has started her solo career, she has made a huge impact on the audience with her outstanding voice and her profound lyrics. 

Over the past three years she released several hit singles including Deli Kan, Sevmek Suçsa Suçluyum, Tutuşmuş Beraber on Sony Music Turkey. Her song ‘Tutuşmuş Beraber' reached more than 24 Million on Spotify, 36 Million views on Youtube.

 

Between the years 2011 - 2017, she was a member of the cult Turkish psychedelic band BaBa ZuLa. She accompanied the band as vocalist and performed in over 40 countries. After making significant appearances all around the world, Melike Şahin has focused on her solo music career in Turkey 3 years ago and toured all across Turkey.

 

In 2017, she performed at the Cannes Film Festival, for the world premier of Tony Gatlif’s ‘Djam’. She has spent time working closely with Gatlif, singing 3 songs for the movie’s soundtrack album.  Gatlif then shot Melike's second music video for her track 'Sevmek Suçsa Suçluyum' in 2018. She has also made international collaborations such as Sakla Beni and Elimi Tut with Kutiman and Beni Yalniz Koma with Boom Pam.
