In addition to makams in traditional Middle East and Turkish music, Barış Demirel also highly influenced by Jazz, Ambient, Rock, Shoegaze, Avant-garde and Gainsbarre sounds, works with his trumpet for his journey...
In his music, he enhances the voicing connection between the trumpet and the microphone using analog and digital equipment. At Roxy Music Days, ( a highly praised musical competition in Turkey since the '90s)  he won the 1st prize in 2011 Promoting new and blended sounds from Istanbul, his music takes the ears and souls on a journey to the  different dimensions. He also took place both national and international festivals and got invited by the Montreaux Jazz Festival to compete in a talent competition. His latest album ‘’Mutluluklar’’ in which he made collaborations with Deniz Tekin and Kadebostany was released in June 2021.
